Job Description

• Deliver quality nursing care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing standards.
• Perform duties according to medical center policies, mission, and regulatory guidelines.
• Work primarily in the Operating Room as a circulating nurse.
• Surgical services cover a full spectrum of procedures except open-heart surgery.
• Operate in a facility with 7 operating suites.
• Use Paragon EMR system.
• Hospital provides scrubs as dress code.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room circulating nurse experience, including experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience in Orthopedics, Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN), Urology, and Neurology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Trauma Level II experience is preferred but not required.

• Full-time employees of the facility are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
• Local travel policy: candidates living within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers.
