Description

Occupational Therapist - Contract Position

Location: Newport, Vermont
Setting: Inpatient (60%) and Outpatient (40%) rehabilitation therapy
Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday (no weekends or holidays)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide occupational therapy services including post-operative splint fabrication
Work primarily in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital environment
Support both inpatient and outpatient populations

Required Qualifications

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Vermont
Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Additional Information

Location offers a peaceful lifestyle with abundant outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
Personal transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transit options
Agency professionals must attend quarterly departmental education sessions
Support provided for transition into the community and workplace environment
