Job Opportunity: Interventional Technologist I

Location

  • Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Job Summary

  • Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose, monitor, and treat conditions without surgery.
  • Support procedures such as cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, thrombectomy, embolization, and pain management.
  • Utilize specialized radiologic equipment and techniques for diagnostic, interventional, and invasive procedures.
  • Maintain sterile fields and ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Act as scrub tech during procedures.
  • Perform quality control, equipment maintenance, and data management tasks.
  • Provide on-call clinical coverage including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
  • May participate in teaching and mentoring students or new team members.

Work Schedule

  • 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

Education

  • A graduate of a post-secondary health science educational program, such as cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT.

Certifications & Licensure

  • Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Oklahoma.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • ARRT (RT), RCES, or RCIS certification.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
  • Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year.
  • Cath Lab Technologist experience.

Equipment & Systems

  • Experience with Phillips imaging equipment; Siemens equipment being added.
  • Documentation performed in Epic electronic health record system.
  • Hemosystem used: Xper.
