Registered Nurse

Location

• Breckenridge, Minnesota

Contract

• 13 weeks
• Day/night rotating schedule
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required

Unit / Setting

• Emergency department
• Float to med/surg and swing bed on the same unit
• Trauma Level IV
• STEMI receiving and stroke designation
• 4 beds and 2 trauma bays

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• 2 years of emergency department experience
• Previous med/surg experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• TNCC

Preferred

• PALS

Schedule / Work Expectations

• Day and night rotation: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
• Charge nurse is present each shift and takes patients
• No call or standby requirement
• No fast track
• No separate triage area
• ER holds are intermixed within the ER
• No in-house security in the ER
• No respiratory therapy in the ER
• RNs read their own strips
• Lab staff draw labs
• On-call support staff are available

Additional Notes

• Navy blue scrubs
• RTO must be submitted upfront; additional RTO will not be approved
• Candidate must be within 50 miles
• Candidate cannot have been full time, part time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit-associated facility, including CHI or Dignity, within the past year
• Candidate must already have an account created/registered to run the MN NetStudy prior to submission
