Job Opportunity: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Easton, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (ER)
• Shift: Rotating Night/Evening shifts (primarily night)
• Hours: 36 hours per week (3x12 or 4x12 shifts accepted)
• Shift Times:

  • Night: 19:00 - 07:30
  • Evening: 15:00 - 03:30
• Schedule: Every other weekend required; holidays as scheduled
• Floating: Within specialty and sister ED facilities as needed
• On-Call: No pre-scheduled on-call shifts required
• Patient Population: All ages (infant to geriatric)
• Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4, can be up to 1:5 with lower acuity
• Work Environment: Fast-paced ED with multiple complex diagnoses

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Additional Information

• First-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience not required)
• Rotation based on department scheduling needs, with primary need for night shift coverage
• Candidates must complete required attestations and verifications prior to start
• Orientation held at facility, dress code is royal blue scrubs or business casual initially
• Floating may include coverage at nearby sister ED facilities
