Respiratory Therapist (Temp) - Rock Island, IL

Job Details

• Employment Type: Temporary
• Location: Rock Island, Illinois
• Shift: Days
• Hours per Day: 8
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Hours: 36-40 hours/week (overtime billable after 40 hours)
• Orientation: Weekly, every Monday
• Work Setting: May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Candidate Eligibility:

  • Local candidates are not allowed
  • Candidates must have a taxable address more than 50 miles from the facility

Job Description

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary team in the provision and management of patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Illinois
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Valid Driver’s License

• Night and holiday shifts compensated with a 1.15x multiplier
• Call back pay at 1.5x multiplier with a 2-hour minimum
• On-call pay available
• Charge/preceptor pay available
