Radiation Therapist Travel/Contract Job – Palo Alto, California
Job Summary
- Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments independently according to physician-developed treatment plans.
- Use clinical skills and sound judgment to deliver safe, precise, and timely procedures.
- Provide competent patient assessment, monitoring, and effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety.
- May perform specific procedures and orient new staff to the department.
- No weekends, call, or floating required.
Location & Shift
- Location: Palo Alto, California
- Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday (5 days/week), 8 hours/day (7:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Total hours per week: 40
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in California
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Experience
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
