Physical Therapist

Location

Putnam, Connecticut

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
5x8 day shifts
One Saturday per month

Assignment Length

Required Qualifications

Current Connecticut physical therapist licensure
At least 1 year of experience
Strong outpatient background
BS, MS, or DPT degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification

Role Summary

Evaluate and treat patients as prescribed by the referring physician
Document treatment, patient response, progress, and discharge information
Educate patients, families, and significant others on condition, treatment, and home program
Confer with physicians and other practitioners regarding patient progress or changes in plan
Orient, instruct, and direct assistants, aides, and students
Assist with planning and implementation of new programs
