Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech (Travel/Contract)
Location: Augusta, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Day (5x8 hours), 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Job Summary
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Interventional Radiology Tech)
- Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics
- Average daily census: 8 patients
- Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, PACS
- Scrub color provided by facility
- Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
- Call requirement: 10 days per month
- Weekend schedule: Every other weekend
- Holiday work expectation:
- If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, expected to work it
- If 2 major holidays fall, expected to work both
- If 3 major holidays fall, expected to work 2 of them
- Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day
- Return to Office (RTO) maximum: 7 days
- RTO blackout dates: Spring Break (April 4th–12th)
Contract Length
- 16 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist within the last year
- BLS certification
Orientation and Compliance
- Full compliance with all requirements needed to start on time; delays in compliance may result in a 2-week start delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
- Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment, 19 hours for 19-week assignment)
Additional Notes
- Clinical screening will be conducted to determine clinical fit before final approval
- Locals accepted at the same rate
- Candidate must review and sign facility’s Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance Policy prior to start
