Respiratory Therapist
Job Overview
- Travel role in Lander, Wyoming
- 36 hours per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Variable day/night schedule: two day shifts and one night shift
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Wyoming
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience working with Pediatric patients
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide cardiopulmonary services for inpatients and outpatients
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures
- Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas
- Maintain airways
- Manage ventilators
- Insert arterial lines
- Perform intubations
- Conduct pulmonary function studies
- Perform cardiac and pulmonary stress tests
- Obtain blood gases
