Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Job Overview
- Location: Nashville, Tennessee
- Employment type: Travel
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with call every other week
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS
- BLS
- RCIS
Preferred Experience
- Monitor experience
Unit Details
- Cardiology unit
- 125 beds
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Floating may include non-invasive, invasive, and IR areas
- Uses GE core equipment
- Documentation systems: Mac Lab and Meditech
Procedures and Equipment
- Procedures include LHC, RHC, PCI, STEMI care, CardioMEMS, loop recorder implants, pacemakers, and ICDs
- Specialty equipment includes IABP, Impella, OCT, IVUS, and FFR
Additional Notes
- Experience with patients is preferred
- Red or black scrubs, or hospital-laundered blue scrubs, are required
- The unit reports strong employee engagement and recognized quality/safety achievements
