Job Overview

Location: Jacksonville, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 4x12-hour schedule (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
Schedule notes: Weekends required; block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated; must be willing to float if needed
Local candidate restriction: No locals within a 50-mile radius

Required Qualifications

Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Valid RN license in North Carolina
Labor and Delivery (1 year of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP
CPI

Additional Notes

RTO must be included at submission to be honored at offer
Meditech experience is preferred
The unit has 10 beds
Patient ratios vary by stage of labor, from 1:1 to 1:4
Responsibilities include direct obstetrical care, assessment, medication administration, carrying out provider orders, evaluating response to care, documenting care, and communicating with the care team
