RN-Endoscopy
Location
Goldsboro, North Carolina
Schedule
- Days
- Monday and Tuesday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
- 36 hours per week
Contract Length
13 weeks
Setting
Endoscopy and pulmonary suite serving inpatient and outpatient populations in a hospital setting
Required Qualifications
- Endoscopy experience within the last year
- 1 year of endoscopy experience
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN or MSN from an accredited school of nursing
Key Responsibilities
- Provide competent clinical nursing care and coordinate patient care using the nursing process
- Perform patient assessment, care planning, education, and evaluation of care
- Support interdisciplinary collaboration, discharge planning, safety, and cost-effective care
- Perform bedside point-of-care testing as needed
- Participate in unit goals, performance improvement, and professional development
Additional Job Details
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
- Knowledge of ProVation is required
- Anesthesia coverage is provided for sedation
