Registered Nurse

Peoria, Illinois
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts
- 36 hours per week
- Every 3rd weekend
- Every other holiday
- No call requirement
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP
- Experience working with High Risk patients
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- OR Circulate experience
Unit Details
- Labor and delivery unit with 9 LDR procedure rooms
- 2 OR suites for C-sections
- 6 triage beds
- 18-bed antepartum unit
- 36 postpartum private rooms
Patient Population
- Pregnant and high-risk pregnant patients
- Vaginal deliveries
- Cesarean deliveries
- Cerclage placement
Responsibilities
- Titrate Pitocin, magnesium, and insulin drips
- Float to postpartum and antepartum units
Additional Information
- Surgical scrubs are provided on unit
- 3 shifts of orientation
- Drug screen required
- Submission requires the last four digits of SSN, middle initial, and requested time off
