Step Down RN

Location

  • Lubbock, Texas

Job Type

  • Travel/Contract

Schedule

  • Night shift, 3x12 hours
  • 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating between units required
  • On-call not required

Assignment Length

  • 13 weeks

Key Role Details

  • Step Down RN
  • IMC experience required
  • Titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips required
  • Expected patient ratio: 1:4

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Stepdown experience within the last year
  • 1 year of stepdown experience
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart and Stroke Foundation
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation
  • Experience titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips

  • Employment application with at least the last 5 years of employment
  • Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting

  • Fit mask clearance
  • Tetanus/diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray
  • Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, flu, COVID documentation or declination as applicable
  • Drug screen
  • Respirator safety clearance
  • Floating policy acknowledgement
  • Badge photo required
