Registered Nurse (RN) — Rock Island, IL

Job Overview

• Temp position
• Nights, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract
• May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Interdisciplinary team role providing and managing patient care

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Illinois
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years of telemetry experience
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
• Stepdown experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License
• Must not have been an employee of the facility’s health system in the last 12 months
• Must live outside 50 miles from the facility, unless based in Madison, where local candidates are accepted with a 10% rate reduction

Required Skills / Clinical Experience

• Chest tubes
• Femstops
• Tracheostomies
• Continuous bladder irrigation
• Drains
• Central lines
• Medication titration experience with amiodarone, Cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, Isuprel, milrinone, and argatroban

Submission Requirements

• Driver’s license
• Work history/resume
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• License verification
• Copy of required certifications
• 1 supervisory reference at time of submission

Scheduling / Assignment Expectations

• Required to work 1–2 of the 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day
• Orientation dates are scheduled throughout 2026
