RN - Orthopedic Surgery

Location

Schedule

36 hours per week
Weekend coverage as needed, every third weekend
No call requirements
Orientation is weekly on Mondays

Unit Overview

23-bed unit
Patient population includes geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients age 13 and older
Common cases include post-operative joints, post-op bariatric, post-operative GI, and trauma patients
Must be willing to float as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Orthopedics experience within the last year
1 year of Orthopedics experience
ACLS
BLS
PALS
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Orthopedic Surgery experience

Preferred Qualifications

Good assessment skills

Work Environment

4–6:1 patient ratio
167-bed facility
Level III Trauma Center

Additional Notes

Candidates must live 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel status
Local rate applies for candidates who do not meet travel distance criteria
