Job Overview

Travel/contract RN role in Manchester, New Hampshire
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
48 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
No Thanksgiving RTO

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Hampshire
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS issued by American Heart Association
PALS
MAB
NIHSS
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in a(n) Inpatient setting

Unit / Clinical Details

Assigned to the ED unit to care for inpatient/CICU level holds in the ED
May also care for overflow patients from medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, and orthopedic areas
Common diagnoses include chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, and pneumonia
Must be able to manage and titrate drips
Floating may include similar units
Team nursing / helping hands approach
Patient sitting may be required

Additional Notes

Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Uses EPIC experience for first-time traveler eligibility
On-site pass/fail basic dysrhythmia testing may apply depending on unit assignment
