Description
Registered Nurse — Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum
Location: Elizabethtown, Kentucky
Schedule: 3x12, 7p–7a, with weekend and holiday rotation
Contract length: 13 weeks
Overview
This role is for a registered nurse providing direct patient care on a labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum unit. The nurse is responsible for comprehensive assessments, care coordination, patient and family education, treatments, and ongoing evaluation of patient response to care.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Valid RN license in Kentucky
- BLS
- LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (1 year of experience)
- LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience within the last year
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and document comprehensive patient assessments
- Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Provide nursing rounds, treatments, and patient/family education
- Monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately
- Develop and revise plans of care based on patient needs and outcomes
- Support quality improvement activities and patient safety goals
- Delegate and coordinate care with other team members as appropriate

- BSN
