Contract

36 hours per week
10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week
On-call required

Role Summary

Perioperative clinical nurse providing care for surgical patients
Expected to circulate in specialty areas including orthopedics, ENT, GYN/OB, general surgery, ophthalmology, and dental
Scrubbing experience is highly encouraged
May need to work varied or odd hours when on call and respond to emergency cases on short notice

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
OR - Operating Room (2 years of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ACLS

Additional Required Credentials During Employment

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within 6 months of hire
Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) within 1 year of hire
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within 2 years of hire

Housing

Limited shared housing is available at $600 per month, based on availability
No family or pets allowed
