Labor and Delivery RN

Overview

Location: Lewiston, Maine

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience
Post Partum experience
Registered Nurse role in Labor & Delivery
Experience in L&D, LDRP, and postpartum care
Ability to manage a 3-couplet assignment
Experience with triage of obstetrical patients
Experience using external fetal heart monitoring
Ability to start and maintain peripheral IVs
Ability to administer antihypertensives and insulin drips
Ability to assist with vaginal deliveries
Ability to recover C-sections
Ability to perform APGAR scoring, newborn assessment, cord sample collection, ID/security banding, and thermoregulation support
Ability to provide epidural anesthesia pain assessment and management
Ability to provide postpartum and mother/baby postpartum care

Required Certifications

Experience in an LDRP model
ACLS
AWHONN Intermediate
Level 1 nursery experience
Mother/baby experience
Experience circulating for C-sections
