Registered Nurse — Observation Unit
Location
Billings, Montana
Contract
13 weeks
Schedule
- Night shift
- 12 hours per shift
- 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Montana
- DOU - Direct Observation Unit experience within the last year
- ACLS
- NRP
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Unit- or service-appropriate certification
Job Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care
- Provide health teaching and counseling
- Perform delegated medical functions and other assigned duties
- Document care according to hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Float to other departments as needed within competency and qualifications
- Be available for on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
