RN-Oncology OP
Location
Raleigh, North Carolina
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No alternate schedule can be accommodated
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- 2 years of oncology experience
- Oncology experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Chemotherapy Certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an outpatient setting
- Infusion experience
Preferred Education
- BSN or MSN from an accredited school of Nursing
Job Summary
- Provides clinical nursing care in a hospital setting
- Coordinates and delivers patient care using the nursing process
- Works with interdisciplinary teams and supports patient education, assessment, planning, and care evaluation
- Performs bedside point-of-care testing as needed
- Supports unit goals, performance improvement, communication, and safe patient care
