Cath Lab Technologist
Location
Roseburg, Oregon
Contract Length
13 weeks
Schedule
- Day shift
- 8-hour shifts
- Options include 5 days per week or 4/10s
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Oregon
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- RCIS or ARRT (CI) or ARRT (CV)
- Radiology Technologist experience
Clinical Experience / Skills
- Able to set up sterile tables and scrub coronary angiograms/interventions, STEMIs, peripheral angiograms/interventions, thrombectomies, multiple IR cases, and device implants
- Competent in access site management, including groin, radial, and drains
- Knowledge and skills with atherectomy devices
- Impella and IABP skills
Job Duties
- Scrub cases tableside with the physician
- May also circulate cases
- Perform groin management
Unit Details
- 3 suites/labs
- Average of 5–10 cases per day
Call Requirements
- 1–2 nights per week
- Every 3rd or 4th weekend
- 1 major holiday and holiday weekend per year
- 20-minute call response time
Additional Notes
- Phone interview with the unit manager
- Scrubs supplied by the department
- Orientation provided by peers/special procedure tech
- Facility does not provide the radiation badge
