Registered Nurse (RN) — Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
Clinical Experience / Skills
- Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
- Experience administering or titrating medications including amiodarone, Cardizem, nitro, insulin, heparin, dopamine, dobutamine, Isuprel, milrinone, and argatroban
Work Expectations
- May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses
- Summer holiday coverage may be required for 1–2 of the following: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day
Additional Notes
- 16-hour NBO
- Patient ratio historically 1:7
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, unless local eligibility applies under the stated exception
