ICU Registered Nurse

Location

  • Tulsa, Oklahoma

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Schedule

  • Nights
  • 12-hour shifts
  • 36 hours per week

Unit Details

  • Critical care float assignment
  • 33-bed ICU
  • Floating required, with first-to-float to telemetry floors
  • Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity; telemetry floating ratio is 1:5
  • No monitor techs; nurses are responsible for EKG monitoring and interpretation
  • One nurse aide is available on day shift and one on night shift
  • Weekend requirement: 2 weekends per month
  • Holidays as needed
  • Scrub color: black

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Oklahoma
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Critical Care Float (3 years of experience)
  • Critical Care Float experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIHSS
  • Telemetry experience

Preferred Experience

  • MediTech experience

  • Respiratory failure
