Echo Tech
Overview
- Location: Fort Pierce, Florida
- Employment type: Travel
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
Schedule
- Day shift and evening coverage
- No overnight shifts
- Weekend coverage required
- Call required: 3–7 nights per month
Required Qualifications
- Echo Technologist with 1 year of experience
- Echo Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS
- RCS
- Echo Tech Certification
- Experience working with Adolescent or Adult or Geriatric or Infant or Neonate patients
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complete 2D echocardiograms
- Take emergency stat echo call
- Complete studies in less than 45 minutes per patient
Work Environment
- Small unit with 2 beds and 7 staff
- Fast-paced, fluid environment
- Ability to work independently is important
