Physical Therapist

Location

• Minneapolis, Minnesota

Contract

• 13 weeks
• Day shift
• 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited physical therapy program
• National registration and licensure for the state of practice, if required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• BLS certification

Experience

• Prior work experience as a therapist in a clinical setting is helpful

Key Responsibilities

• Assess client needs and develop therapy plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions and consultation with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Document observations, services provided, and orders
• Train clients on programs, adaptive equipment, and other interventions
• Supervise therapy assistants as allowed by federal and state regulations
• Follow infection control and safety standards

Work Environment

• Moderate noise level
• May involve travel based on business need

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• 8-hour days, with openness to 4-10s
