Required Qualifications

MRI Technologist with 1 year of experience
MRI Technologist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
Current state license verification required
National tech certification verification required
ACLS and PALS required based on unit/specialty; must be AHA, with RQI acceptable
Background check required within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years, with all aliases included
EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days prior to start, with all aliases included
Illinois Department of Corrections inmate search required within 30 days of start
Illinois State Police Murderer and Violent Offender Against Youth Registry search required within 30 days of start
Illinois Most Wanted search required within 30 days of start
Initial degree verification required
Competency exam required for all clinical and allied candidates
Skills checklist required
2 professional references required
Valid/current US driver’s license or US ID card required
Badge photo required within a week of signing
Code of conduct acknowledgement required within 7 days of signing
Module instructions must be completed by 4:00 PM CST on the first day of orientation
Physical exam required within 1 year of start
Fit test required
Negative TB test or chest X-ray required within 1 year of start
TB questionnaire required
Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, and flu documentation or approved exemption required
9-panel drug screen required within 30 days of start
Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
Parking permit form required unless not applicable based on transportation or remote status
Badge name form required
