Description

ICU Registered Nurse

Location: Dickinson, North Dakota
Contract length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS
  • PALS
  • TNCC, TCAR, or experience caring for trauma patients

Job Details

  • ICU setting
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2–3 depending on acuity
  • RN must titrate drips
  • RN must read and interpret telemetry strips
  • Floating may be required to medical-surgical or emergency department for 1:1 coverage
  • Weekend, holiday, and first-to-float coverage required as needed
  • 3 shifts of unit-specific orientation
  • Navy scrubs

  • DKA
  • Sepsis
  • Respiratory failure
  • Cardiac rate and rhythm control
  • Medical detox
  • Arterial lines
  • CVP monitoring

Additional Notes

  • No clinical involvement
  • Candidates must be able to pass facility fit testing requirements if applicable
  • RTO must be submitted upfront; additional RTO will not be approved
