Description
Registered Nurse — Emergency Department
Location
- Jamestown, North Dakota
Contract
- 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour day/night rotating shifts
Schedule
- Variable schedule
- Every 3rd weekend required
- Will not work alone
- No floating to other units/departments
Required Qualifications
- Active North Dakota or compact RN license
- At least 1 year of previous emergency department experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- Flu shot required
Job Duties
- Provide nursing care for patients of all ages
- Direct patient and family teaching
- Coordinate care with ancillary nursing staff and other patient team personnel
Unit Details
- 11-bed emergency department
- Nurse-to-patient ratio varies based on department volume
Orientation / Training
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation
- Hospital and department orientation provided
- EPIC ASAP module training provided
