Description

Labor & Delivery RN

Overview

Travel assignment in Statesboro, Georgia
Start: ASAP
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 6:45a–7:15p
Weekend and call coverage required
Floating required between departments in the Women’s Pavilion
Auto offers only; no interviews

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
2 or more completed travel assignments
BLS
ACLS
NRP

Schedule Details

2 twelve-hour call shifts every 6 weeks, with one call shift on a weekend
Block scheduling may be accommodated if weekend requirements are met

Clinical Responsibilities

Monitor and assist laboring patients
Communicate with providers
Circulate in the OR for cesarean sections
Triage patients at 20 weeks and up
Support newborn resuscitation during deliveries
Recover vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Provide care for antepartum patients requiring Labor & Delivery care

Additional Notes

Patient ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
Unit has 13 beds: 8 LDRs and 5 triage beds
Scrub color: Navy blue
