RN - PACU
Location
- Farmington, New Mexico
Job Details
- Travel assignment
- 13 weeks
- Day shift: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- On-call required on weekends and evenings
- May float to PreOp and/or Endo
Unit Overview
- Phase I Recovery RN role in the PACU
- Adult patients with mid to high acuity
- 7-bed unit
- Patient ratio: 1:1 to 1:2
- Specialty focus includes recovery for general surgery, ortho, neuro, OB/GYN, urology, ENT, and robotics
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (3 years of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- Trauma experience
Preferred Experience
- Recovery experience with pediatric dental patients
Additional Notes
- Cerner is used in the unit
- Mindray equipment is used in the unit
