Description
Interventional Radiology RN
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Winston-Salem, North Carolina
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Contract length: 26 weeks
- Unit accepts first-time travelers
- Local candidates are accepted
Schedule and Call
- Weekends are required based on the call rotation
- Call is required, including being able to arrive at the hospital within 30 minutes
- RTO after booking is not allowed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Interventional Radiology experience within the last year
- 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
Preferred Qualifications
- PALS
- Circulate experience
- Ventilator experience
Unit Details
- Interventional radiology setting with pre- and post-procedure coverage as needed
- Typical workload is 16 cases per day across three IR rooms
- No float requirement
- Scrubs are provided
Orientation
- 8-hour unit orientation
- Hospital orientation occurs during the first week
- Candidate must be available for classes each day during orientation
