Job Overview

Travel/contract role in Overland Park, Kansas
Day shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
36 hours per week
Contract length: 13 weeks
First-time travelers accepted
Float pool position; no home unit assigned
May float between multiple Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU units and to other metro campuses as needed
Patient ratio: 1:5

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Telemetry experience
Med Surg experience
Pending license not accepted
Must live at least 75 miles from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS

Schedule Requirements

8 weekend shifts in each 6-week schedule period
Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments as needed
No block scheduling
No on-call requirement
No more than 7 days of requested time off
