Description
Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Dubuque, Iowa
Employment Type: Temp
Shift: Days
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Overview
- Day shift assignment in a cardiac catheterization lab.
- Patient volume is about 4 scans/procedures per day.
- Scrubs are provided by the hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Iowa.
- Cath Lab Technologist (2 years of experience).
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year.
- One completed travel assignment.
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- ARRT or CCI.
- Driver's License.
- Proficiency with fluoroscopy.
- Proficiency and comfort in peripheral and coronary angiography cases.
- Proficiency and comfort in PCI and pacemaker procedures.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Impella.
- Experience with Acist Injector, iFR, and IVUS.
Assignment Requirements
- Must work 1–2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed.
- Not open to local candidates within 90 miles.
- Not open to first-time travelers; at least 1 prior travel contract completed within the previous 12 months is required.
Additional Notes
- Orientation is 16 hours.
- EPIC is used in the unit.
