Location: Lincoln, Maine

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Maine
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
BLS
CPI
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

BSN
ACLS certification

Role Overview

Provides age-appropriate nursing assessments and reassessments
Develops and implements plans of care
Administers medications and evaluates patient response
Documents care and communicates updates to the care team
Participates in discharge planning, patient education, rounding, quality improvement, and emergency preparedness

Work Environment

Requires standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, bending, reaching, balance, lifting, and pushing patients in wheelchairs and stretchers
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
Requires visual and hearing acuity sufficient to assess patients
Possible exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, toxic cleaning chemicals, and fumes

Additional Notes

Onboarding begins on day 1 with Human Resources
The facility may cancel up to 3 shifts within 12 weeks
