RN - GI/Endoscopy
Job Overview
- Location: Clarkston, Washington
- Employment Type: Contract
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 4 10-hour day shifts with a shared on-call rotation
- Hours per Week: 36
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- BLS
- Endoscopy (2 years of experience)
- Endoscopy experience within the last year
Preferred Qualifications
- Charge nurse experience
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in GI/Endoscopy and related outpatient services areas, including day surgery, endoscopy lab, post-anesthesia care unit, pre-operative clinic, and support for conscious sedation procedures
- Perform nursing assessment, peri-operative education, and care
- Recognize post-anesthesia and post-operative complications
