Job Overview
- Travel RN position in Lander, Wyoming
- 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Wyoming
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- Women's Services experience
- Post Partum experience
- OB/GYN experience
- LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum experience
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP issued by American Heart Association
- STABLE
- AWHONN
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Coordinate care across disciplines, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support
- Educate patients and families based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances
- Support physical and emotional well-being as a patient advocate
- Assist with C-sections, deliveries, neonatal assessment, and recovery care for surgical patients
Additional Notes
- May be required to float to another unit as helping hands or sitter depending on census
- Fetal monitoring certification classes are attended every two years
- STABLE certification class attendance is expected if offered and NRP certified
