Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- ED - Emergency Department (1.5 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Epic
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 18 years of combined permanent nursing experience
- Experience with Epic
Additional Requirements
- ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment must be completed during orientation with acceptable scores
- Must work at least every other holiday
Onboarding / Compliance
- Background check required before start
- Fingerprinting required before start
- Education verification required
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start
- Fit mask testing required before start
- Tdap required every 10 years
- Negative TB screening or chest X-ray required
- Flu documentation required seasonally
- Eye exam required within 1 year of start
- Drug screening required within 12 months of start
- BCI/FBI fingerprint attestation required
- Skills checklist required annually
