Required Qualifications

• Illinois RN license in good standing
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience
• Fluent in English: reads, writes, comprehends, and speaks
• Basic computer knowledge, including word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser use
• Multicultural sensitivity
• Critical thinking skills with independent judgment

Education

• ASN required
• BSN preferred

Role Overview

• Provides and manages nursing care using the nursing process
• Works with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care from admission to discharge
• Performs patient assessment, care planning, interventions, documentation, and ongoing evaluation
• Supports patient and staff safety, including patient moving/handling and lift equipment use
• Obtains lab specimens and performs bedside lab testing with quality control
• Communicates with the care team, gives shift reports, and advocates for patients when needed
• Participates in teaching, teamwork, and professional development
