RN Oncology Infusion Clinic - Adult

Location

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Schedule

10-hour shifts
40 hours per week

Job Summary

Provides nursing care for adult oncology infusion patients in a clinic setting.
Administers chemotherapy and other medications, monitors patients, supports physicians during procedures, provides patient education, and coordinates follow-up care.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Oncology experience within the last year
1 year of oncology experience
Experience in an outpatient setting
Infusion experience
1 year of chemotherapy experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
ONS/ONCC certification

Skills

Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
Ability to apply nursing techniques
Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
Some computer skills
