RN NICU
Overview
- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
- Employment type: LTA
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 07:00 - 19:30
- Schedule: Days
Role Details
- Level 3 NICU experience is strongly preferred.
- May float to Pediatrics or PICU if needed.
- May float to another NICU in Carmel, Indiana if needed.
- Scrubs: Royal Blue
- EHR familiarity: Sunrise Clinical Manager
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Indiana
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
- NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
- Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
- Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals
- At least two professional references
- Driver’s license or state ID that is not expired and matches the address on file
Required Certifications
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP Advanced issued by American Heart Association
Optional Certifications
- NRP, AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program
- NRP Advanced, AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics Neonatal Resuscitation Program
Onboarding / Compliance
- Resume or profile required for submission
- Signed assignment agreement required before onboarding completion
- Pharmacology exam required before start and updated every 3 years
- Specialty exam required before first assignment and updated every 3 years
- Core competencies required within a year of start and updated every 3 years
- Safe sleep training required
- EKG exam required before start and updated every 3 years
- Onboarding education attestation required
- Nursing contract worker onboarding completed onsite
- Badge photo required
- Color vision screening required before start and updated every 3 years
- Skills checklist required within one year of start and updated annually
