PCU Cardiac Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Manchester, New Hampshire
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
13-week contract
Patient ratio: 1:5
Weekend requirement: every other weekend
Floating required to similar units as needed
Pending license accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in New Hampshire
Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
Experience with Epic

First-time travelers are accepted with 2 years of experience and EPIC experience

Unit Details

Cardiac PCU
May care for overflow medical, surgical, trauma, oncology, and orthopedic patients
Common diagnoses include chest pain, syncope, heart failure, sepsis, overdose, GI bleed, COPD, and pneumonia
Unit procedures include post-cath with stent only, ICD/pacer insertions, and cardioversions

Additional Considerations

Travelers who have ever been former employees at any associated facility are not eligible
Local travelers within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a rate decrease
