- 18:00–06:30
- 3x12s
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- No block scheduling
- May be required to float to areas of equal or lesser acuity
Job Summary
- Provides leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care
- Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families
- Communicates pertinent patient and family information to the care team
- Helps identify and implement solutions when patient goals are not met
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Michigan
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
Skills
- Clinical knowledge for effective nursing care planning
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
- Strong communication with patients, families, and hospital personnel
