Registered Nurse — Post-Op
Location: New Lenox, Illinois
Employment Type: Temp
Shift: Nights
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Hours per Day: 12
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (4 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Stepdown experience
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience
- Experience working with Adult patients
- Experience working with Geriatric patients
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Role Overview
- Develops, coordinates, and delivers care to telemetry patients
- Maintains standards of professional nursing
- Supervises CNA/SNA or other health care workers as assigned
Clinical Setting
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Trauma Level II
- RN-to-patient ratio: 1:6 or 7
- Night shift ratio: 1:5–7
Additional Details
- Pewter grey scrubs required; traveler must provide them

- Certified monitor techs support remote telemetry monitoring
