Med Surg RN
Location
- Papillion, Nebraska
Shift
- Nights
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Nebraska
- Med Surg (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Driver's License
Schedule / Assignment Details
- Floating may include ER for 1:1 sitting
- Weekend and holiday needs vary
- No block scheduling
- 7 or fewer days of requested time off allowed upfront for the full contract
Unit / Patient Population
- Medical-surgical unit
- Adult and geriatric patients
- 28 beds
- Day ratio: 1:4
- Night ratio: 1:5
Team / Support
- Charge nurse on each shift
- Nurse aides/patient care techs on the unit
Orientation
- Classroom orientation plus one 12-hour shift on the floor
Additional Notes
- Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas
- Candidates must not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
- Radius rule: 50 miles
