Schedule

• Day shift
• 3x12 hours
• 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• 36 hours per week

Contract Length

• 16 weeks

Unit Highlights

• Operating room service lines include bariatrics, urology, neurology, ENT, oral, plastics, transplant, ophthalmology, general surgery, GYN, and orthopedics
• Floating may be required within the facility and to outpatient areas as needed
• Weekend and call expectations will be discussed during the interview

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• OR - Operating Room (4 years of experience)
• OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 4 years of Operating Room experience with General Surgery specialty
• 4 years of Operating Room experience with GYN specialty
• Neurology experience
• Transplant experience
• Orthopedic Surgery experience
• OB/GYN experience

Required Certifications

• ACLS

• 2 clinical references
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray
• TB questionnaire
• Drug screen
• Flu vaccination or declination
• Measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and hepatitis B documentation
• Physical exam
• Color blind testing
• Code of conduct acknowledgement
• Dress and professional appearance policy review

Additional Notes

• No holiday time off will be approved during blackout dates
• Maximum requested time off is 7 days
