Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D
Overview
- Location: Hackensack, New Jersey
- Employment type: Clinical
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Hours per week: 36
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Schedule notes: Every other weekend required; holidays required; no on-call
Role Summary
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs
- Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through ongoing assessment
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care
- Advocate for evidence-based practice and patient-centered care
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Jersey
- Labor and Delivery (2 years of experience)
- Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NRP issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- ACLS
- Advanced AWHONN or EFM
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 2 years in L&D
Additional Notes
- EPIC experience preferred
