RN - Emergency Dept

Overview

  • Travel RN role in the Emergency Department
  • Location: Valparaiso, Indiana
  • Start: ASAP
  • Contract length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Hours per week: 36
  • Floating required
  • No on-call requirements
  • Block scheduling not available
  • Patient ratio: 1:4
  • Unit size: 30 beds
  • Scrub color: Navy

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Indiana
  • ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • PALS or ENPC
  • NIHSS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Driver's License

Additional Requirements

  • Must submit required license and certifications with application
  • Must include current driver’s license and permanent home address on submission; address must match ID
  • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility

  • Cerner is listed as the EMR system
  • RTO blackout dates or required holidays: none
  • Maximum RTO: 1 week
